Hi! My name is Abigail Stegman and I am the 5-year-old kindergarten teacher at Traver School! I grew up in Belvidere, IL, and recently graduated from Valparaiso University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a minor in special education. 

From a very young age, I knew I was destined to be a teacher. The core of my educational philosophy is centered around helping my students foster a love for learning. I believe that every student is capable of reaching their full potential with the proper guidance and encouragement. I am so excited to begin my first year of teaching at Traver School and create many memories with students!
