I.Student Learning and Achievement

Performance Indicator: Teachers will create their lessons based on state standards and formative assessments.
Performance Indicator: Continue to modify awards program to create the opportunity for children to be recognized for their growth and achievement
II.Socio-Emotional Learning
a.Growth Mindset
b.Trauma-sensitive awareness
c.Social skills
Performance Indicator: Staff will work with students to cultivate growth mindset strategies
Performance Indicator: Staff will continue learning about childhood trauma and how to support students with trauma.
Performance Indicator: Staff will create activities and opportunities for students’ social skills development.
III. Promote the Advantages of Attending Traver School
a.Use the local newspaper and social media to connect the district with families
b.Create brochures and mailings to promote the district
Performance Indicator: Photos and articles will be submitted to the area newspaper regarding school events and activities.
Performance Indicator: Staff social media pages will be consistently updated and shared to maximize social media exposure.
Performance Indicator: Brochures and mailings will be sent in a timely manner according to enrollment periods.
IV. School Climate and Communication
a.Learn how staff, students, and families feel about the school and students’ education
b.Maintain safety goals from previous year: committee, dismissal, and drills
c.Utilize more modes of communication with parents and the community
Performance Indicator: Create and evaluate climate via surveys to staff, students, and families
Performance Indicator: Continue Safety Committee meetings at least three times per school year to discuss safety needs and issues. Maintain the dismissal procedures and safety drills.
Performance Indicator: Involve parents in the school with volunteer opportunities.
Performance Indicator: Create an annual school report to disseminate to the community.

Performance Indicator: Teachers will be offered professional development opportunities to extend their practice as well as teach colleagues what they have learned
Performance Indicator: New teachers will be supported by trained mentors on staff on a regular basis throughout the year.
Performance Indicator: Committees will be formed to address the needs of the district in order to provide top-notch education to students.
VI. Stewardship - Overseeing Wise Use of Resources
a.Improve/Increase Enrollment

Performance Indicator: Continue to foster communication with our current parents, as well as develop additional ways to showcase our school to parents who may elect to open enroll their children to Traver.
Performance Indicator: Provide resources for staff to be able to grow through professional development opportunities
Performance Indicator: Continue to support the fiscal management of the district through fiscal updates at regular School Board meetings.
Performance Indicator: Create a formal list of custodial projects in a timeline and with estimated costs to work into the annual budget.
