Technology at Traver

Picture
All classrooms are 1:1, students in 4k-2nd grade have iPads, students in grades 3-8 use Chrome books.

Here at Traver, we have embraced technology and encourage 21st Century thinking skills.  Students as early as 4K begin their technology journey by learning how to manipulate a mouse and navigate programs designed for their age.  Our computer lab is regularly used to learn how to use computers.

Beginning in fifth grade, students are issued Chrome books to carry to their classes.  Fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth graders may take their machines home whenever they'd like. We were one of the first schools in the state that offer this type of program.  Student Chrome books are at no additional cost to students with the exception of a small yearly optional maintenance fee.

We are very proud of our efforts to bring technology into our classrooms!
