Traver strives to offer sports and extra-curricular activities. Most activities begin in fifth grade. We offer:

Our Art, Music, Band, and Spanish programs are all part of the regular school day.
Beyond the core subjects, students take part in our physical education program every other day with Mr. Nottestad. Students enjoy music with Mr. Lumaye and art with Mrs. Juszczyk for a semester each year.
Learning a band instrument is offered in fourth grade and students join band in fifth grade (of course, an instrument can be learned later than fourth grade). Band students meet on A Days. Our band performs for our Veterans' Day program, Holiday program, two Spring concerts, and eighth grade graduation night. In addition, Mr. LuMaye offers choir to students before school two days a week.
Students attend Spanish class with Sra. D'Amico. Sixth, seventh, and eighth graders have Spanish everyday.
Our Library/Media Specialist, Ms. Schultz, helps students learn about technology in 4K through eighth grader. Fifth and sixth graders have Tech two days a week all year and seventh and eighth graders have Tech twice a week one semester each year.
