Hello all, my name is Jeff Smith.  I am fortunate to be one of the custodians at Traver.  I enjoy working with both the kids and staff.  My road to Traver has been a long and winding road.  I worked for 25 years in the "camp and conference center business" starting as a cook and ending as the executive director.
After that, my path took me into the construction industry for 10 years, and then I worked for a sanitation and janitorial supply company as a Service Technician/warehouse manager/truck driver/building maintenance supervisor.

My wife and I are both graduates of Williams Bay High School.  We have raised 4 children that also graduated from Williams Bay and now have 5 grandchildren that are enrolled there.  My interest outside of work includes woodworking and I also work at George Williams College as the Sunday Chef.

I have a renewed passion in coaching.  I coached at Williams Bay for 12 years.  I was the Baseball coach, Softball coach, Jr. High Girls Basketball coach, and eventually the Varsity Girls Basketball coach.  On my 2nd day of work at Traver, Mrs. Andersen asked me if I might be interested in coaching the boys basketball team.  After much deliberation, most of it in my head, I decided to take on the "task".  Best decision I've made in years.  Working with such a fine group of young men has been very rewarding.

Go Wolfpack!
