My name is Troy Nottestad and I am the 4K-8th grade Physical EducationTeacher and 7th and 8th grade Health Teacher here at Traver School.  I was born and raised in Lake Geneva and graduated from Badger High School.  After high school, I decided to follow in my parents' footsteps and become a teacher. I continued my education at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where I received degrees in Physical Education, Health and Coaching.  After graduation, I was hired at Traver.  Hard to believe it, but that was 25 years ago.  I am proud to say that I have spent my entire teaching career at Traver and feel blessed to be at such a special school.  The small school setting and family atmosphere are things that I thoroughly enjoy!

When not teaching, I enjoy hunting, fishing, coaching, and spending time with family and friends.  My family consists of my amazing wife Andrea, 13 year old Ashlin, and our two dogs, Buck and Sparky.
