Mid-Year Pacers Leaders in PE

PACERS are an fitness activity that Traver students do every Friday throughout the school year in order to increase their endurance and to find out how far they can push themselves. They have been working hard to improve on their scores so far this year
Any parent that would like to come in and see how the measure up against their son or daughter, please feel free to come and join us. Just find out what time their physical education class is on Friday, and come on in!

Spelling Bee

Yesterday's Spelling Bee was riveting! All contestants spelled their hearts out. In the end, it was a battle between Anna and Zander. Back and forth, they spelled words like dramaturgy, laconic, and perseverance with ease. In the end, Zander won out. He will move on to the district Spelling Bee in February. Congratulations to all!

Anthology

Each year, students are challenged to create a piece of writing or artwork to go with a theme chosen by the Whitewater TAG Network. This year's theme was "Aha!". These students were school winners. Plus, 23 of the pieces went on to be judged at the final competition to be submitted into a published book. Seven of our kids were accepted! They will have the opportunity to attend a reception in May to receive their own copy of the book. Congratulations!

Holiday concerts were held December 15th, lower grades in the afternoon and upper grades in the evening. All students did an excellent job...working very hard at practicing their band selections, songs and speaking parts. They were great concerts!!
