The first graders did a wonderful job with their forensics! They all were selected to compete in the regionals in Walworth. They learned so much about their subjects, and their classmates' subjects. They were introduced to doing research, and the art of public presentation. Way to go, first graders!

Traver's first grade sent seven students to the regional forensics competition in Walworth. There were five trophies and two blue ribbons awarded!
All students worked so hard - we are very proud of them! Each year, the first through fifth graders participate in forensics. They create presentations of various types to present to the other students and families of Traver. Mr. Collins reported that everyone did a great job and he was proud of their efforts. Students are scored and those with high enough scores qualify to go to the district competition at the end of April. The kids in the pictures will be participating in the district competition. Good luck! |
