First graders are busy alphabetizing during library class. This exercise helps students locate books by their favorite author.

Third grade students each received a dictionary from the Walworth Lakeland Elks 2210. THANKS!!  The first day of school activities included the normal: Where is my classroom? Who is my teacher? How do I remember my gym locker combination? And then there is the 'RULES, RULES, RULES' discussion...but Traver teachers did something a little different this year, they greeted students with a 'High-Five' tunnel and an assembly to welcome all students, and new students, to a new school year. They also submitted an 'unusual fact about me' and had students guessing WHO the teacher was behind that. Then it was back to class and some sort of normal schedule.
