The fifth through eighth graders studied China yesterday as part of our Day 6 activities. Our library/media specialist, Ms. Boughton, has traveled to China and one of her daughters lives in Bejing so she spoke to our students about her experiences. She also brought Chinese ink and brushes for us to try some Chinese calligraphy. Her daughter, Miss Boughton, created a video tutorial for us to practice writing numbers 1-5 and then we went online and printed off our names as Chinese characters. The students wrote their names in Chinese to display in our lunch room.
