Valentine's day was full of fun activities in 2nd grade! For math, we sorted candy hearts into groups and then made a bar graph to show our results. We also did a lot of estimating activities such as "how many candy hearts would it take to make a foot?" and "how many candy hearts can you balance on your desk before they fall over?" We wrapped up our day with our Valentine's party where we exchanged valentine cards and played a few games such as pass the tissue paper heart and heart lava.
